I’m so excited to be adding wedding films to my offerings for couples who want to take their memory-making a step further.
While my photography and wedding films are offered as separate services (I don’t take on both for the same wedding day), this new offering feels like such a natural extension of my work. With a background in film, storytelling has always been a part of how I see and create—and I’m excited to bring that perspective into capturing the movement, emotion, and little in-between moments of a wedding day.
I’m still finding my voice and style as a videographer, so this offering is especially for the adventurous couples who are excited to experiment, create, and tell their story in a way that feels honest and uniquely theirs.

WHAT MAKES YOUR WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY DIFFERENT?
I don’t believe wedding videography is about putting a camera on a tripod and recording your wedding from beginning to end. While extended raw footage can certainly document what happened, it doesn’t necessarily tell the story of how the day felt.
My approach is much more intentional. I’m creating a wedding film, something thoughtfully composed, edited, and paced so that you’ll actually want to sit down and watch it years from now. I’m looking for the movement, emotion, atmosphere, and energy that make your wedding uniquely yours, and then weaving those pieces together into something cohesive and beautiful.
The result is not hours of footage to sort through. It’s a carefully considered collection of the loveliest moments from your day, created to bring you right back to the feeling of being there.
DO YOU PROVIDE RAW OR EXTENDED FOOTAGE?
My focus is on creating a finished wedding film rather than delivering hours of largely unedited footage. I don't record the entire day like a surveillance tape would, and that is fully intentional. If your priority is having a continuous recording of every minute of the ceremony or reception, my approach may not be the right fit.
I don’t think the art of wedding videography is simply pressing record and letting a camera run. It’s knowing what to capture, how to capture it, what moments belong together, and how to shape all of those pieces into a story.
If you want to hear your vows or relive the full speeches, those meaningful moments can absolutely be incorporated into your film. But rather than giving you hours of footage you may never watch, I create something intentionally edited that you can return to again and again.
HOW MUCH DIRECTION IS INVOLVED?
As much or as little as feels right for you. I prefer to make a film that matches the couple, rather than fitting a set template or look.
Most of the day is candid and observational, but I’m not afraid to step in when a little direction will make the film more beautiful or meaningful. That might mean asking you to slow down during a walk, giving you a few minutes alone together, or intentionally creating a short interview with someone you love.
I want the majority of your film to feel like your real life—but there’s something special about intentionally creating a few moments that you'll be grateful to have years from now.
DO YOU WORK ALONGSIDE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes, and I love collaborating with photographers.
Your photographer and I have different jobs, and I’m very intentional about making sure the two mediums complement one another rather than compete for the same moments. I’ll communicate with your photographer and planner when appropriate and remain mindful of the flow of the day.
I also do not photograph weddings and film weddings simultaneously. When I’m your videographer, I’m fully focused on creating the best possible film for you.
HOW DO YOU MAKE the film FEEL LIKE OUR WEDDING?
I pay attention to the details that create the atmosphere of your particular day: the people you invited, the way your partner looks at you, the energy of your reception, the setting, guest reactions, and all the little things you may not even notice while the day is happening.
We can also incorporate intentional elements that make your film especially personal. For example, I love incorporating short reception interviews with your closest friends and family, giving the people you love an opportunity to share memories, stories, or words for you to hear later. Those pieces can turn a beautiful wedding film into something deeply personal and completely irreplaceable.
WHY INVEST IN A WEDDING FILM IF WE ALREADY HAVE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Photographs preserve a moment. Film has the ability to bring an entire feeling back to life.
Your photographs will show you the way your partner looked at you, the tears in your father’s eyes, and the people gathered around you. Your film lets those moments unfold—the way the room felt, the way everyone moved, laughed, danced, and celebrated around you.
The two mediums aren’t competing with one another; they preserve different parts of the experience in their own beautiful way.
And my goal isn’t to give you hours of footage. It’s to create something you’ll actually want to watch, and something that can bring you back to this season of your life for years to come.
