While you’re getting married, your friends are probably doing something ridiculous in the corner. Your grandmother is reacting to something you didn’t hear. Someone is fixing someone else’s dress. The ring bearer takes his job a little more seriously than anyone expected. Your best friend is crying before you even walk down the aisle.


Those are the things I’m looking for.


I’m naturally drawn to people and the way they interact, so I’m constantly watching for the little moments unfolding around you. I’ll step in when you need a little direction, and otherwise let things unfold.


You’ll be busy living the day. I’ll be the one noticing it and capturing everything you didn’t see.

We reserve your date! Sign your contract, pay your retainer deposit of $1000, and now the fun can begin!

Let's Plan

We’ll share the details, timelines, and coordinate the must-have shots. Together, we'll build a custom timeline to fit your vision of the day.

Step 04

 

The Big Day

I’ll guide during the moments you planned for: the newlywed portraits, family photos, and your first look, and otherwise let things unfold naturally, keeping an eye out for the moments you’ll want to remember long after the day is over.

Gallery Delivery

Delivery day! Once your images have been fully edited and uploaded to your online gallery, they’re officially yours to download, share, print, and revisit whenever you want.

WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

As a former educator and natural extrovert, I’ve always been drawn to people. That instinct carries into every wedding I photograph. My priority is to make you feel comfortable, cared for, and completely present in your day. I’ll help troubleshoot the little surprises alongside your planner, keep things moving when they need to, and know when to step back and let you enjoy it. I’ll be laughing with you while you get ready, celebrating alongside your people, and finding my way onto the dance floor when the party starts. I’m there to photograph your wedding from the inside of the experience—not as an outsider, but as someone who feels like part of your team.

WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL?

Travel is FREE within the limits of Santa Cruz County. For events outside of Santa Cruz, a small rate of $1.50 per mile is applied to cover travel time and expense. For example, if your event is taking place at Wedgewood Weddings in Carmel, to account for the 24 miles driven, an additional $36 dollars will be included in your quote.

HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?

All images will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your event via digital gallery through my website, available for you to download and use. Sneak peeks will be delivered within one week of the event. Film will be delivered digitally, and film prints can be added to your collection, and delivered via snail mail.

WILL YOU EDIT OUT MY IMPERFECTIONS?

While I’m happy to remove small distractions from your photos, my goal is to capture you as you are. I don’t alter your appearance or use Photoshop to change your features. I believe there’s beauty in the people I photograph, and I want you to look back on your photos with love, recognize yourself, and remember your day as it really was.

HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT?




You can expect roughly 50-60 high-resolution images per every hour that I shoot, though I often yield more than that as a chronic over-shooter!

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

Bringing a second photographer allows us to dedicate more focus to both the big moments and the little details we don’t want to miss. While I’m at the front of the aisle, the second photographer is at the back. While I capture the reveal of your first look, my associate photographer captures your fiancé’s reaction. This is how we achieve a comprehensive gallery that doesn't miss a moment from your special day.
