You have enough wedding decisions to make.
This guide covers all of the photography stuff so you don't have to think about it twice.
I'll help you build a photography timeline, wrangle family photos, give you direction when you want it, and keep an eye out for the little things you might otherwise miss.
The goal is to make space for the photographs that matter while leaving you plenty of time to actually be at your wedding.
And don't worry about knowing how to pose. That's my job.
What Happens Next
Before the wedding:f
We'll check in, finalize your timeline, and make sure I know the important details by filling out the client questionnaire linked in this guide.
Payment:
A $1000 Retainer Invoice was due upon signing your contract.
The remaining cost will be charged via invoice one month prior to the wedding date.
On the day:
I'll show up ready to get started based on the details you will have already shared with me, keep things moving when they need to move, and disappear into the background when they don't.
After the wedding:
I'll sort through the thousands of little moments that happened throughout the day and turn them into your complete gallery.
Your photos will be available to download and share as high resolution digital files. Be sure to download the full gallery, so you have access to all of your photos, forever.

Your Wedding Day + Photography
Your photography should fit into your day—not take it over.
There are a few photographs that are worth intentionally making time for: family portraits, wedding party photos, couple portraits, and the big things happening throughout the day.
But some of my favorite photographs aren't scheduled at all.
They're the friend who starts crying during the ceremony.
The person who absolutely loses it on the dance floor.
Those moments don't need a pose.
I recommend setting aside two designated portrait times: one for family/wedding party, and the other for you and your person, so the newlywed portraits don't come last because you put everyone else first.

Your Wedding Questionnaire
Let's get the important stuff out of the way.
A few weeks before your wedding, I'll ask you to fill out a short questionnaire so I know where to be, who I'm photographing, what's important to you, and anything else that might help me do my job well.
You don't need to have every detail figured out yet.
I'll use your answers to build our final photography plan together.
Building your Timeline
The timeline matters. But it doesn't have to be complicated.
The best photography timelines leave room for both planned photographs and time to share with your people.
Generally, we'll want enough time for:
Getting ready → First look → Wedding party → Ceremony → Family → Couple Portraits → Cocktail hour → Reception
Your exact timeline will depend on your venue, coverage, ceremony, travel, and priorities.
A Few General Guidelines
Allow enough time that you're not putting on your outfit while I'm packing up to set up at the ceremony site.
Getting Ready
Short, organized, and efficient.
Family Photos
Minimum 20 minutes. Give us enough time to actually make something instead of racing through ten minutes.
Couples Photos
If the light is good, I'll probably try to steal you away for a few minutes.
Golden Hour
Set them aside for me, so you don't have one more thing to grab while you're getting your hair and make-up done
Details
Build some in. Weddings are famously so fun, that they're bad at running exactly on schedule.
